NOW IT IS SPRING AND I LOVE LIVING IN NEW ENGLAND DURING THIS TIME OF YEAR. ANGELA AND DANI B, I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. IT IS GREAT WEATHER AND EVERYTHING IS SOOOOOO PRETTY HERE. THIS WHOLE WEEK WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING OUTSIDE AND GOING FOR WALKS. GRIFFIN LOVES TO PLAY OUTSIDE WITH ALL THE COUGARS (OLDER GIRLS :) ) ON OUR STREET- SO CUTE!

I LOVE WALKING AROUND DOWNTOWN NEWBURYPORT WITH THE FAMILY AND EATING OUTSIDE. I LOVE TO GO TO DOWNTOWN BOSTON WITH THE FAMILY AND PLAY IN THE BOSTON COMMON. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUR BACKYARD ALL DONE UP SO THE BRATS CAN PLAY OUT THERE ALL DAY! I AM SO EXCITED FOR MY FAMILY TO COME VISIT AND FOR SOME OF MY CLOSE FRIENDS THAT ARE COMING HERE AS WELL, I CAN'T WAIT! SO FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS I AM SURE MY MOOD WILL BE MUCH BETTER THAN IT HAS BEEN.

NEWBURYPORT IS ABOUT 10 MINUTES AWAY AND WE ALWAYS GO EAT AND WALK AROUND OVER HERE WITH THE MUNCHKINS. AND THE CLAM BOX IS A FAMOUS NEW ENGLAND RESTAURANT KNOWN FOR SERVING THE BEST FRIED CLAMS- WE ARE GOING TO GO EAT THERE THIS WEEKEND AND SIT OUTSIDE- CAN'T WAIT!!!

SO AS YOU SAW IN MY LAST POST, MY GOAL WAS TO HAVE THE BEST KID BACKYARD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. FOR THOSE OF YOU W/O KIDS YOU ARE PROBABLY THINKING LAME, RIGHT? WELL, ONCE YOU HAVE KIDS YOUR PRIORITIES SHIFT, AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS ARE YOUR KIDDOS. SO, MY THINKING WAS TO GET THE BEST PLAY YARD AND EVERYONE WILL WANT TO COME TO OUR PLACE TO PLAY. OF COURSE WE WOULD NEED TO GET A FEW MISC. OUTDOOR TOYS AS WELL, BUT THAT IS EASY ENOUGH.

WELL, YESTERDAY THERE WAS A NEIGHBORHOOD CONVENTION IN OUR CUL DE SAC ( NOSEY MOMS AND THEIR KIDS PLAYING IN OUR STREET) AND I HEARD THAT ONE FAMILY IS PUTTING A $6,000 SWING SET IN THEIR BACKYARD!!!! YES, THAT IS NOT A TYPO $6,0000. tHAT IS A HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY ON A SWING SET. SO I HAVE A FEELING THAT THEIR PLAY YARD MAY BE A BIT BETTER THAN OURS!!!! SO OF COURSE I AM PISSED!!!!! THERE IS A GROUP OF LADIES AND THEIR KIDS THAT HANG OUT IN THE NEXT CUL DE SAC OVER (THIS IS WHERE THE SWING SET WILL BE- $6,000) AND THEY CONSIDER THEMSELVES TO BE THE COOLEST OF THE COOL. YEP, I KNOW IT SOUNDS LIKE HIGH SCHOOL RIGHT!!!! AND MOST OF THESE MOMS ARE 12 YEARS MY SENIOR. THEY ARE ALL AROUND 37+ WITH BABIES. IF I AM 40 WITH A 1 YEAR OLD- SHOOT ME!!!!! SO ANYWAY, WE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COOL CREW, SO I WANTED TO START MY OWN COOL CREW. AND ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT I INVITE CAN PLAY IN OUR COOL YARD! BUT NOW MY THEORY IS BLOWN B/C EVERYONE IS GOING TO WANT TO HANG AT THE EXPENSIVE SWING, RIGHT?! WRONG!!!!!!!! I AM WAY COOLER THAN ANY OF THOSE 40 YEAR OLDS AND IF THEY DON'T LIKE ME AND JASON-TOUGH!!!! I CAN'T HELP IT THAT WE ARE ONLY 28 AND 29 AND LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSES THAT THEY ARE AT THEIR AGE. SOMEONE ONCE TOLD ME THESE LADIES WERE JEALOUS OF US B/C WE WERE SO YOUNG WITH KIDS AND A NICE HOUSE, ETC... WELL, GET OVER IT! B/C NOT ONLY ARE WE THE YOUNGEST PEEPS IN THE HOOD BUT WE ARE THE COOLEST CATS AND WE'LL SHOW THEM!!!!!

THE BRATS!

HELLO. SO NOT TOO MUCH NEW GOING ON IN THE POST HOUSE. LAST WEEK WE HAD 2 DAYS OF NICE WEATHER SO I DID LOTS OF WALKING WITH THE KIDDOS AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH ANOTHER NEIGHBOR AND HER BABY. I THINK THIS WEEK BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY WE WILL START TO GET NICE WEATHER AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE HERE TO STAY B/C I AM SO SICK OF THE COLD!!!!!!

THIS PAST WEEKEND WE DID SWIM LESSONS AND RAN A BUNCH OF ERRANDS. WE ALSO WENT OVER TO A FRIENDS HOUSE SATURDAY NIGHT. THESE ARE THE FIRST FRIENDS WE MADE HERE WHEN WE MOVED TO BOSTON, AND THEY ARE JUST GREAT! THEY HAVE 2 BOYS. THEIR OLDEST IS 3 1/2 MONTHS OLDER THAN GRIFFIN SO THEY WILL BE BUDS ONE DAY AND THEIR YOUNGEST BOY IS 6 MONTHS SO HIM AND PEYTEN WILL HANG AROUND TOGETHER :) THAT NIGHT, SATURDAY, WE GOT HOME FROM THEIR PLACE AROUND 10:30 AND GRIFFIN SLEPT ALL NIGHT AND PEYTEN SLEPT FROM MIDNIGHT UNTIL 10 AM!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS GREAT! AND.....LAST NIGHT SHE SLEPT STRAIGHT FROM 11:30 UNTIL 6 AM!!!! I HOPE WE ARE ON TO SOMETHING HERE :)

ME AND JASON ARE DOING GOOD. JUST GETTING THE BACKYARD READY FOR THE WARM WEATHER AND OUR COMPANY. WE ARE GOING TO BUY SOME PATIO FURNITURE FOR THE DECK SO WE WILL ACTUALLY HAVE SOMEWHERE TO SIT WHEN WE HAVE COMPANY OVER AND WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A SWING SET FOR THE BRATS AND WHATEVER OTHER OUTDOOR TOYS WE CAN FIND. MY GOAL IS TO HAVE KIDS FROM PLAYGROUP OVER TO PLAY AT OUR HOUSE AND ALSO HAVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS OVER THAT WE LIKE TO PLAY AS WELL.

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK WHEN MOM AND DAD COME, THEN THEY COME AGAIN FOR THE BAPTISM AND GRIFFIN'S B-DAY. GRIFFIN ASKS FOR HIS NANA EVERY SINGLE DAY SO HE WILL BE REALLY HAPPY COME NEXT WEDNESDAY. I HAVE ALSO BEEN SHOWING HIM PICTURES OF MY FRIEND KIM, SO HE WILL REMEMBER HER WHEN SHE COMES FOR THE BAPTISM :)

SO TODAY IT IS ACTUALLY AROUND 68 DEGREES!!!!! CRAZY! I PUT SOME CAPRI WORKOUT PANTS AND A T-SHIRT ON, GRIFFIN HAD SHORTS ON AND PEYTEN HAD A T-SHIRT AND WE WENT FOR A WALK FOR 1 1/2 HOURS TODAY WITH A NEIGHBOR AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IT FELT SO GOOD TO FEEL THE SUN BEATING DOWN ON US! NOW TOMORROW IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE 50'S SO I AM SURE WE WILL ALL GET A COLD, BUT IT WAS SO NICE TO BE OUTSIDE TODAY. THE BRATS ARE DOING GOOD. SISSY IS 2 MONTHS OLD AND TIME JUST KEEPS FLYING BY! GRIFFIN IS DOING GOOD, GIVING HER LOTS OF LOVE AND I THINK HE IS FINALLY GETTING USED TO HER BEING AROUND. I AM JUST READY FOR HER TO SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT, BUT I KNOW SOONER THAN LATER IT WILL BE HERE. WELL, JUST WANTED TO DO A QUICK UPDATE ON US. MY MOM AND DAD ARE COMING IN A WEEK IN A HALF FOR A QUICK VISIT B/C ME AND GRIFFIN ARE REALLY MISSING THEM AND THEN THEY COME AGAIN 2 WEEKS LATER AND SO WILL PEYTEN'S GODPARENTS FOR THE BAPTISM. THEN WE HAVE GRIFFIN'S 2ND BIRTHDAY AND OF COURSE MOM AND DAD ARE COMING AND SO IS MY AUNT AND GRANDPA FROM CALIFORNIA- WE ARE SO EXCITED. AND....IN AUGUST WE ARE GOING TO FLORIDA FOR THE MONTH- CAN'T WAIT!!!! WELL, I WILL DO ANOTHER BLOG SOON. UNTIL NEXT TIME......

quick update

Well, can't type long b/c griffin is napping and princess pipsqueak just woke up so i will have to go tend to her. There is never a free moment anymore :) As you can see from the picture above, Griffin is beginning to adjust to pipsqueak. He gives her lots of love and he is always trying to feed her his food.

She is just a little bundle of joy. She smiles so much now and she loves to watch griffin play all the time. she follows him around with her eyes and she is always looking for him. She is cooing alot and even laughing. She is just so precious and we love her to death. She wakes up about 2 times each night to eat and we are hoping that pretty soon she will sleep through the night.

Griffin is also doing really well, aside from being sick. We both have a massive cold! But other than that, he is eating really well, and sleeping too. And is language is really improving. He probably says about 14-16 words now. I need to make a list. Just this past week he has added owl, light and garlic to his list of words, and today it sounded like he was trying to say all done. He really is trying hard with his speech, but it really is getting much better!

I have also discovered that Griffin loves the Beetles, his favorite song is yellow submarine so for his birthday i am going to buy him the DVD of the cartoon. He has a toy submarine and he always uses sign language for us to sing more submarine. and in the car he always wants me to play my Beetles cd, he always signs for that as well- too funny!!!! I always knew he had good music taste :

Well, i will write more later, it sounds as if pipsqueak has gone back to sleep so i am going to go lay down as well.

Easter Weekend

So, what is new with the Post household you may ask yourself, well let me fill you in. Last Wednesday, my mom arrived for a much needed visit to boston. i had asked her to come up here to help out with the brats, and of course being the great mom that she is, she came up ASAP. Wednesday and Thursday we just hung around and Thursday night i actually went out to dinner with two girls from my neighbor. It was good to just get out of the house and have some adult conversation without the munchkins. On Friday, while Griffin was napping and Jason was home from work, me, mom and pipsqueak went to Maine and had some Lobster sandwiches for lunch and did some shopping at stonewallkitchen (stonewallkitchen.com).

Then on saturday Griffin started up swimlessons again, then he ate 6 munchkins from Dunkin- his favorite breakfast. Then in the afternoon we took the kiddos to an easter egg hunt in the neighborhood and a good time was had by all. Princess Pipsqueak slept the whole time but griffin had a blast. He loved seeing the easter bunny and seeing what was inside all of his eggs. Then that afternoon me, mom, and pipsqueak did some shopping- one of our favorite things!!!!

Sunday we took the kiddos to the boston aquarium, and griffin enjoyed all the fish! Then we went to kelly's for lunch and he ate lots of fries!!!

Yesterday and today we have been hanging out and doing some shopping, tumble gym and stuff like that. Today we took them to McDonalds, griffin's fav restaurant and today he ate an entire hamburger!!!!!!! he used to be sooooo picky but now he is such a good little eater- that's my boy!!!! Well, i hope this post finds everyone doing well.

The CW network is working on a spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210.
OMG!!!!!!!
At this point, it's just a pilot, but the CW needs to order this to series!
Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas is in talks to pen the project, which has been put on the fast track by the network.
It is unclear if any of the original cast members will return, but they HAVE to have at least a couple on.
The Peach Pitt is back!!!!

Post family update

Well, i don't even know where to begin with this blog................

So here it goes, Griffin is having a very very tough time with the adjustment with the new baby. That being said, i don't want to get into all the details right now, b/c then this post would dbe really really long. but let's just say it is very tough for him and we are seeking the help of our doctors and hopefully they can refer us to a specialist to help. Griffin already sees a speech therapist once a week as most of you know, b/c it is obvious he has a cognative language delay. right now he says about 10 words and speech doesn't come easy for the little guy, BUT his receptive language is great, he understands everything we say to him. so we have been getting help for this. But it turns out, he may have some sort of developmental disorder (PDD), but until we run some tests we won't know for sure. So please keep your fingers crossed that he is just acting out against the pipsqueak.

As for her, she is one month old and doing great! she weighs in at 8.4 pounds- she is like me- loves to eat. She gets cuter and cuter by the day.

Me and jason are doing good. Just tired tired tired. 2 kids is taking its toll on us. On a lighter note, i know i always complain that i have no friends here but we actually have a few. infact, one of our married couple friends here, invited us to go see the Drop Kick Murphy's this weekend, on saturdya night. Well,of course we won't be able to go b/c we don't have a sitter, adn with everything thatis going on with griffin, i wouldn't leave him with a stranger anyway. But it was nice to be asked. SO steph if you are reading this have fun and i am super super jealous!!!!!

Well, once i know more about my precious meatball i will fill you all in.

THE KIDS.........

SO I BET YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW IT IS GOING WITH 2 KIDS UNDER 2. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU- IT IS HARD AS HELL. I EVEN HAD SOME PEOPLE TELL ME OH IT'S NOT BAD, IT IS EASY- HA HA HA,I LAUGH IN YOUR FACE!!!!! IT IS NOT EASY AT ALL, IT IS A TRUE TEST OF MY PATIENCE, BUT I LOVE MY LITTLE BRATS!

WHEN MY MOM WAS HERE, IT WASN'T SO BAD BUT NOW THAT SHE IS GONE AND I AM ALL ALONE, I'M NOT GONNA LIE- IT IS TOUGH WORK! MY DAYS CONSIST OF, FEEDING ONE KID THEN FEEDING THE OTHER ONE, CHANGING ONE DIAPER THEN CHANGING THE OTHER ONE. GETTING ONE OF THEM DRESSED THEN DRESSING THE OTHER ONE. I THINK YOU CAN SEE WHERE I AM GOING WITH THIS. BASICALLY I DO THIS ROUTINE AND THEN IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN.

TODAY GRIFFIN DECIDED TO WAKE UP AT 4:45AM, AND THE PIPSQUEAK IS STILL SLEEPING- THANK GOODNESS. BUT THEN ONCE SHE WAKES UP HE IS GOING TO BE TIRED AND MAY GO DOWN FOR A QUICK NAP, THEN WHEN SHE NAPS, HE IS AWAKE. IT IS TOUGH BUSINESS. IT IS ONLY 7:21 AM AND I AM READY FOR A NAP!

GRIFFIN HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH SOMETHING THIS WEEK AND I HOPE IT IS JUST TEETHING. YESTERDAY I HAD TO PICK HIM UP FROM SCHOOL B/C HE WAS CRYING THE ENTIRE TIME FOR 3 HOURS! AND LAST NIGHT HE WOULDN'T FALL ASLEEP UNLESS JASON WAS IN HIS ROOM WITH HIM, AND AS I SAID EARLIER HE WOKE UP AT 4:45! HE HAS BEEN CRYING ALL THE TIME AND I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM B/C I CAN'T GIVE HIM ALL MY ATTENTION. IT IS TIMES LIKE THIS THAT I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY NEAR ME HERE. THERE IS NO ONE HERE THAT I CAN CALL UP AND VENT TO OR COME AND VISIT ME AND THAT SUCKS!!! THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE FAMILY AND FRIENDS NEAR BY, COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. WHEN I LIVED IN DALLAS, I TOOK IT FOR GRANTED THAT I HAD SO MANY WONDERFUL FRIENDS. IF I EVER MOVE BACK I PROMISE TO BE A BETTER FRIEND!

SO THAT IS WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE MEATBALL, SO LET ME FILL YOU IN ON PRINCESS PIPSQUEAK. SHE EATS. YEP, SHE EATS AND EATS AND EATS. THAT KID CAN TAKE DOWN 4 OUNCES LIKE IT IS NOBODY'S BUSINESS. SHE WAKES UP, GETS CHANGED, EATS, EATS SOME MORE, THEN CRIES THEN SLEEPS. THEN IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN. THIS KID IS A CRIER JUST LIKE GRIFFIN WAS. THEY ALWAYS TELL YOU IF ONE KID IS FUSSY THE OTHER ONE WILL BE THE OPPOSITE- WRONG!!!!!!!!! OH WELL, WHAT CAN YOU DO.

ANYWAY, THAT'S HOW IT IS GOING OVER HERE. OH YEAH, DID I MENTION THAT IT IS FREEZING COLD HERE SO CAN'T EVEN TAKE THE BRATS OUTSIDE!! THOSE OF YOU IN THE SOUTH AND CALIFORNIA, I AM SOOO JEALOUS THAT YOU CAN GO OUTSIDE WITH THE STROLLER ANYTIME YOU WANT THIS TIME OF YEAR!

GRIFFINS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

WELL, IT FINALLY HAPPENED. IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO GIVE MY LITTLE MAN HIS SPACE. YESTERDAY, WAS HIS FIRST DAY OF "SCHOOL". OKAY SO MAYBE HE IS ONLY GOING TO SCHOOL 2 MORNINGS A WEEK FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS MONDAY AND THURSDAY BUT IT IS GOOD FOR HIM TO BE AWAY FROM HIS MOMMY. THIS WAY HE CAN LEARN TO PLAY WITH OTHER KIDS HIS AGE AND LEARN TO BE AWAY FROM ME AND HAVE FUN WHEN I AM NOT AROUND. HIS TEACHERS SAID HE DID GOOD FOR HIS FIRST DAY. HE PLAYED WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL DOG- MY KID LOVES STUFFED ANIMALS AND HE KEPT GOING BOW WOW WOW EVERY TIME HE SAW A PICTURE OF A DOG THAT IS HANGING ON THE CUPBOARD. THEN AT LUNCH TIME, MY LONG AND LEAN BOY DIDN'T REALLY EAT ANYTHING, BUT HE DID TRY AND FEED HIS FOOD TO THE STUFFED ANIMAL DOG AGAIN- YEP THAT'S MY BOY. HE LOVES TO PRETEND PLAY WITH HIS ANIMALS. THEY SAID HE WAS REALLY SHY AND DIDN'T REALLY PLAY TOO MUCH WITH THE OTHER KIDS BUT THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED SINCE IT WAS HIS FIRST DAY. HE CRIED 2 TIMES BUT STOPPED CRYING EACH TIME THEY GAVE HIM A CRACKER :) MAYBE ON THURSDAY HE WILL INTERACT A LITTLE MORE WITH THE OTHER BRATS.

TODAY WE HAVE TUMBLE GYM SO THAT SHOULD BE FUN FOR ME TRYING TO CHASE HIM AROUND FOR 45 MINUTES WHILE I HAVE PRINCESS PIPSQUEAK WITH ME.

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE, MY MOM LEFT YESTERDAY AND IT TOTALLY SUX W/O HER HERE, I MISS HER SOOOOO MUCH!!!! BUT SHE DID LEAVE ME WITH SOME GOOD ADVICE. PRINCESS PIPSQUEAK HAD BEEN WAKING UP EVERY NITE EVERY 1 1/2 HOURS- YIKES!!!! MY MOM SAID TO TRY THE SWADDLE BLANKETS AGAIN. WE TRIED WHEN WE FIRST BROUGHT HER HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL BUT SHE HATED IT. BUT I TRIED AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND SHE SLEPT FROM 10PM UNTIL 5 AM!!! THEN WENT BACK TO SLEEP UNTIL 6 AM. THENI FED HER AND SHE IS STILL SLEEPING AS WE SPEAK!!! WHAT WOULD I DO W/O MOM!

ALSO, I WANTED TO SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PRINCESS ELLA. I ALSO WANTED TO SAY HAPY BIRTHDAY TO GAVIN AND KENDALL-THE CUTEST TWINS EVER!!!! GRIFFIN WISHES HE COULD BE THERE TO SEE EVERYONE ON THEIR BIRTHDAYS!

POST FAMILY UPDATE

SO IT HAS JUST ABOUT BEEN 2 WEEKS NOW AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM GOING TO SAY THIS BUT SO FAR SO GOOD! GRIFFIN HAS ADJUSTED REALLY WELL TO HIS BABY SISTER AND HE ALWAYS WANTS TO HELP WITH HER. BENTLEY SEEMS TO HAVE ADJUSTED WELL TO PEYTEN TOO, HE IS ALWAYS BY HER SIDE.

BABY PEYTEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PRINCESS PIPSQUEAK- HER NEW NICKNAME, COMPLIMENTS OF MY MOM SEEMS TO BE ADJUSTING TO LIFE OUTSIDE THE WOMB. SHE LOVES TO EAT. GRIFFIN LIKES TO HELP WHEN WE FEED HER AND WHEN SHE GETS A DIAPER CHANGE, AND THE DOG IS ALWAYS RIGHT BY HER SIDE.

SHE LOVES TO EAT. I DON'T KNOW WHERE 6 POUNDS PUTS ALL THE FORMULA BUT SHE MANAGES TO FIND A PLACE. SHE EATS EVERY 1 1/2 HOURS AT NIGHT AND DURING THE DAY SHE EATS GOOD TOO. SHE SLEEPS WELL TOO- DURING THE DAY. SHE WILL GO FOR 3-4 HOUR STRECHES DURING THE AFTERNOON, BUT NIGHT TIME IS A DIFFERENT STORY. BUT I THINK MY BODY IS ADJUSTING TO BEING NOCTURNAL NOW :)

TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY SINCE WE BROUGHT HER HOME ON SUNDAY THAT WE TOOK HER OUT. IT HAS BEEN FREEZING ASS HERE IN BOSTON AND IN THE LOW 30'S AND I DON'T WANT TO GET HER SICK. TODAY IT WAS AROUND 40 SO WE TOOK HER AND GRIFFIN TO BABIES R US AND TO EAT AT MCDONALDS.

WELL, ON THURSDAY THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO TRY AND GET ME IN TO THE HOSPITAL THAT NIGHT RATHER THAN FRIDAY B/C THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR ME FRIDAY MORNING………..

WELL, THURSDAY NIGHT CAME AND SURE ENOUGH THEY HAD NO ROOM TO INDUCE ME SO THEY SAID CALL US TOMORROW MORNING AND WE WILL TRY AND GET YOU IN THEN. OKAY, WHATEVER. SO I CALLED FRIDAY MORNING AND SURE ENOUGH THEY TELL ME THEY HAVE NO ROOM FOR AN INDUCTION ON FRIDAY AND THAT I AM GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING TO COME IN TO BE INDUCED……….

MY CONTRACTIONS WERE ABOUT 15-18 MINUTES APART AND WEREN’T VERY PAINFUL. I MEAN I WAS ABLE TO WATCH ONE TREE HILL WHILE HAVING CONTRACTIONS AND I SEEMED FINE. I CALLED THE DOCTOR TO TELL THEM I WAS HAVING CONTRACTIONS BUT THESE “MEDICAL EXPERTS” TOLD ME THAT MOST LIKELY SHE STILL WOULDN’T ARRIVE UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING SINCE THEY WERE 15-18 MINUTES APART. HER ADVICE TO ME WAS TO HAVE SOME SEX. YEAH OKAY, I AM ONE WEEK OVERDUE AND MY DOCTOR IS TELLING ME TO GO GET IN ON IN THE BEDROOM WHILE I AM HAVING CONTRACTIONS, I DON’T THINK SO!!!!! SHE SAID THAT MAY HELP SPEED UP THE PROCESS. SERIOUSLY, THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE HAD KIDS UNDERSTAND THAT SEX IS THE LAST THING ON YOUR MIND WHEN YOU ARE CONTRACTING AND YOU JUST WANT TO GET THAT KID OUT. AT THIS POINT MY CONTRACTIONS WERE STILL AT 15 SO MY MOM AND JASON DECIDE TO GO TO THE MARKET TO GO GET SOME EGGS TO MAKE FOR DINNER. I MEAN WHAT SOUNDS BETTER THAN EGGS AND POTATOES WHILE YOU ARE HAVING CONTRACTIONS, RIGHT. I’M A BIANCARDI, FOODIS ALWAYS ON MY MIND! SO THEY LEAVE ME, GRIFFIN AND DR. SOME TIME NEXT WEEK. SO THEY GET BACK AND WE CALL THE DR. AND THEY SAY I NEED TO WAIT UNTIL MY CONTRACTIONS ARE 5 MINUTES APART BEFORE I COME TO THE HOSPITAL. SO HERE I AM 9 MINUTES APART AND IN EXTREME PAIN AND THEY TELL ME NOT TO COME TO THE HOSPITAL. SO I AM SITTING IN A WARM BATH WITH CONTRACTIONS THINKING SOON ENOUGH I WILL GET MY EPIDURAL AND EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT THIS LABOR AND DELIVERY WOULD BE QUITE DIFFERENT THAN GRIFFIN’S. SO ANYWAY MY CONTRACTIONS SKIP TO 7 AND JASON CALLS AGAIN TO LET THEM KNOW AND THEY SAY THE SAME THING, DON’T LEAVE UNTIL THEY ARE AT 5. SO WE ARRIVE AT THE HOSPITAL AND I AM HAVING CONTRACTIONS LIKE EVERY 3 MINUTES SO THEY CALMLY TAKE ME TO MY ROOM AND TELL ME TO GET UNDRESSED AND BREATHE THROUGH MY CURRENT CONTRACTIONS THAT ARE COMING ON STRONG LIKE A BITCH. AND I SAY I AM READY FOR MY EPIDURAL. SO THE DOCTOR COMES IN WHILE I AM IN EXTREME PAIN 3 MINUTES APART AND SHE LOOKS AT ME AND SAYS WOW, YOU ARE DIALATED TO 9, THERE IS NO TIME FOR AN EPIDURAL, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THIS BABY ASAP!!!! SO HERE I AM SITTING IN MY HOSPITAL BED ON MY SIDE WITH MY ASS HANGING OUT FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE WHILE I LAY SCREAMING IN PAIN STILL WAITING FOR MY DRUGS! THEY TELL ME THE ANESTHEGIOLOGIST IS IN SURGERY WITH SOMEONE ELSE SO I NEED TO KEEP WAITING. I GAVE BIRTH AT 8:26PM AND IT WAS NOW PROBABLY AROUND 9:30 AND JASON, ASKED ME IF I WANT HIM TO ORDER US ALL SOME HOT WINGS. HOT WINGS, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! I JUST GAVE BIRTH WITH NO DRUGS, HAD MY VAG SEWN UP, STICKS SHOVED UP MY ASS, AND HE ASKS ME IF I WANT HOT WINGS! MEN!!!!!!!!!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHATSO EVER!!!!!!

SO, ON FRIDAY ME AND MY MOM WENT TO ANOTHER DAY CARE, AND IT WAS SUCH A BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN THURSDAY. THIS PLACE WAS SO MUCH NICER. IT WAS NEWER, BIGGER AND THE TEACHERS WERE SO MUCH NICER. GRIFFIN DIDN'T CRY ONCE. WE WENT INTO THE TODDLER ROOM AND HE PLAYED WITH THE OTHER KIDS AND AT ONE POINT ME AND MY MOM LEFT TO GO LOOK AROUND AND HE DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE WE WERE GONE. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO LEAVE THE CENTER HE FUSSED B/C HE WANTED TO STAY AND PLAY.

SO I HAVE DECIDED THIS IS THE BEST THING FOR GRIFFIN RIGHT NOW AND FOR ME. SO, TODAY I WENT TO LOOK AT A DAYCARE WITH GRIFFIN. OH GOODNESS........... IT DIDN'T GO OVER SO WELL. FIRST, ONCE WE WENT TO SEE THE CLASSROOM THAT HE WOULD BE IN, HE LATCHED ONTO MY LEG AND WANTED TO BE PICKED UP AND THEN BEGAN TO CRY OVER AND OVER. HE WOULDN'T STOP. HE WOULDN'T STOP UNTIL WE GOT HALF WAY HOME. TOMORROW WE ARE GOING TO CHECK OUT ANOTHER DAY CARE AND MAYBE HE WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER.

SO IT HAS BEEN A WEEK SINCE MY LAST BLOG SO I FIGURED I SHOULD DO A NEW POSTING ALTHOUGH THERE IS NOTHING IN PARTICULAR THAT I FEEL LIKE WRITING ABOUT.

GRIFFIN IS GOOD FOR THE MOST PART. HE HAS BEEN SICK ALL WEEK WITH A COLD SINCE WE ARE HAVING ARCTIC WEATHER HERE- SUCKS!!!!! I WISH I WERE SOMEPLACE WARM AND SUNNY ON A TROPICAL ISLAND SOMEWHERE, BUT WHO KNOWS WHEN I WILL GET THAT CHANCE AGAIN SINCE WE WILL HAVE 2 BRATS RUNNING AROUND. I GUESS IT IS A GOOD THING NONA LISA AND PAPA OZZIE LIKE TO VISIT GRIFFIN EVERY MONTH SO THEY CAN BABYSIT :) SO SINCE HE HAS BEEN SICK WE MISSED PLAYGROUP AND TUMBLE GYM THIS WEEK SO HE DIDN'T GET TO BE AROUND ANY KIDS. I AM TRYING TO GET HIM AROUND KIDS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE B/C I WANT HIM TO LEARN HOW TO BE SOCIAL AND HOW TO INTERACT WITH OTHER KIDS HIS AGE. RIGHT NOW, HE LIKES TO CRY AND HIT AND IN A LITTLE OVER A YEAR HE WILL BE OFF TO PRESCHOOL, AND I WANT HIM TO BEHAVE HIMSELF. I AM EVEN THINKING ABOUT PUTTING HIM IN A DAYCARE LIKE SETTING MAYBE 2 MORNINGS A WEEK JUST SO HE CAN START TO GET USED TO IT, BUT WE WILL SEE................

ON ANOTHER NOTE PEYTEN IS DUE 2 WEEKS FROM TODAY- NOW THAT IS CRAZY!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST 9 MONTHS WENT. ME AND JASON HAVE A FEELING SHE IS COMING EARLY BUT HOPEFULLY SHE CAN WAIT UNTIL THURSDAY WHEN MY MOM COMES TO HELP. I AM REALLY GETTING NERVOUS ABOUT 2 KIDS BUT I GUESS WE WILL MANAGE.

ONE DAY I WAS SITTING ON THE COUCH WATCHING SOAPNET- YEP SOAPNET- THIS IS WHERE THEY PLAY 90210 AND AFTER 90210 WAS AN EPISODE OF ONE TREE HILL. SO I SAID OKAY, I WILL TRY IT OUT AND EVER SINCE I HAVE BEEN HOOKED. I MEAN SERIOUSLY THIS SHOW ROCKS!!! LAST SEASON ALONE THERE WAS MURDER- BROTHER MURDERED BROTHER, TEENAGE PREGNANCY, HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTING, TEENAGE MARRIAGE AND MY FAVORITE A PSHYCHO KILLER OUT TO GET PEYTON! AND I WAS AFFRAID THAT THE NEW SEASON WAS GOING TO SUCK B/C SAESON 4 WAS SOOOO GOOD, BUT IT IS AWESOME. THEY SKIPPED 4 YEARS AND ARE NOW 22, SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THAT COLLEGE DRAMA OF GETTING 6 CHARACTERS AT THE SAME SCHOOL, THAT OFTEN FAILS SO MANY TIMES WHEN A SHOW TRYS TO DO THAT. WE HAD A REALLY NICE HOLIDAY HERE IN BOSTON. MY MOM AND DAD WERE HERE TO CELEBRATE AND WE HAD A WHITE CHRISTMAS, WHICH WAS FUN TO SEE GRIFFIN GOI SLEDDING- HE IS SUCH A BOSTONIAN!! SANTA WAS GOOD TO US AND BROUGHT US EVERYTHING WE WANTED AND I WOULD SAY THAT GRIFFIN MADE OUT PRETTY WELL. IT IS SO HARD TO BELIEVE THAT NEXT CHRISTMAS WE WILL HAVE 2 LITTLE ONES RUNNING AROUND- CRAZY!!!

WE HAD A NICE NEW YEARS AS WELL. MOM AND DAD WERE STILL HERE AND THAT NIGHT ME AND JASON WENT TO A NEW YEARS PARTY AND TOOK GRIFFIN B/C KIDS WERE ALLOWED SO IT GAVE MY MOM AND DAD A BREAK FROM US :)

WE GOT SO MUCH DONE WHILE MY PARENTS WERE HERE. GRIFFIN GOT NEW BEDROOM FURNITURE- INCLUDING A BED- BUT HE IS STILL TOO LITTLE FOR IT. HE LIKES HIS CRIB. I BET ONCE HE IS 2 WE WILL TRY AND PUT HIM IN HIS BIG BOY BED, SO IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO GET ANOTHER CRIB. WE ALSO MOVED GRIFFIN'S WHITE FURNITURE INTO PEYTEN'S ROOM SO HER NURSERY IS COMING ALONG. I AM GOING WITH THE COLORS OF PINK, GREEN, WHITE AND CREME IN A SHABBY CHIC THEME WITH BUTTERFLIES :) WE ALSO WENT THROUGH GRIFFIN'S OLD CLOTHES TO SEE WHAT WE CAN USE FOR PEYTEN SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO BUY ALL NEW CLOTHES. DON'T GET ME WRONG, WE ARE STILL BUYING THINGS FOR HER AS I TYPE. INFACT, TODAY WE WENT TO ORDER A DOUBLE STROLLER THAT MY MOM AND DAD WERE KIND ENOUGH TO GET FOR US AS A GIFT.

WELL, OTHER THAN THAT,NOT MUCH ELSE TO REPORT. I WENT TO THE DOCTOR LAST WEEK AND IT TURNS OUT MY CERVIX IS STILL REALLY THICK AND NOT DIALATED AT ALL AND HER HEAD STILL HASN'T DROPPED. I STILL THINK SHE IS COMING EARLY- HOPEFULLY!!! HER DUE DATE IS SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, AND I CAN'T MISS THE PATS WIN IT AGAIN!!!!!!

Griffin and santa the second time

yep, that's my boy. After waiting 1 1/2 hours to get his picture with santa this year, he cried and cried and wet his pants! That's my boy. Good thing while we were in florida we took his pic with santa but i only have a hard copy of that one, and of course he had a big smile on his face!

WE'RE BACK

SO WE ARE FINALLY BACK HOME FROM SUNNY WARM FLORIDA. WE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME. WE WENT TO THE ZOO, THE BEACH, THE PARKS, BUTTERFLY WORLD, BOATING AND PLAYED OUTSIDE EVERYDAY. GRIFFIN LOVED ITB/C HE GOT TO WEAR SHORTS AND T'S AND NOW HE IS WEARING LAYER UPON LAYER OF CLOTHING. IT IS SOOOOOO COLD HERE! THIS AM MY CAR SAID 27 DEGREES!!! HOW CAN IT BE THAT COLD!!!! ANYWAY, WE ARE BACK IN BOSTON FOR A WHILE NOW SINCE I CAN'T FLY AND I'M SURE THAT WITH 2 BRATS WE AREN'T GOING TO WANT TO MAKE THAT ADVENTURE BY PLANE ANYTIME SOON :)

THIS WEEK WE HAVE JUST BEEN GETTING BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS. I HAD MY DR. APPOINTMENT AND EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD. WE ARE AT THE POINT WHERE I GO EVERY 2 WEEKS NOW. GRIFFIN HAD HIS 18 MONTH CHECKUP AS WELL AND SO FAR SO GOOD. I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE MADE IT 18 MONTHS ALREADY. TIME FLIES WAY TO FAST!!!!! GRIFFIN ALSO HAD HIS FIRST DENTIST APPOINTMENT THIS MORNING TOO. HE DID REALLY GOOD, EXCEPT SHE TOLD ME GRIFFIN IS GETTING ALL HIS TEETH IN AT ONCE! HE ONLY HAS 8 TEETH RIGHT NOW, AND HE IS GETTING HIS BOTTOM MOLARS ALONG WITH LIKE 4-6 OTHER TEETH ALL AT ONCE. LORD, GIVE ME PATIENCE TO DEAL WITH THAT :)

OH YEAH, DID I MENTION THAT ONCE AGAIN LIKE WITH MY FIRST PREGNANCY I HAVE KIDNEY STONES. YEP, WHEN I WAS 7 MONTHS PREGGERS WITH GRIFFIN I PASSED 2 KIDNEY STONES AND SO FAR I HAVE PASSED ONE BUT I KNOW THERE ARE MORE. I GUESS IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH CALCIUM. SO IT ALWAYS FEELS LIKE I HAVE TO PEE ALL DAY LONG- FUN, RIGHT!

TOMORROW WE GO TO FLORIDA UNTIL DECEMBER 2 :) BUT I WILL BE UPDATING MY BLOG FROM FLORIDA.

Pampering Myself!!!!!!

So this weekend I have decided to take some time out for me :) Yep, no Jason and no griffin, although I will miss them- not really :) I am getting my hair cut tomorrow, and you may be saying big deal- but yes it is a big deal b/c it is very hard to do this with Griffin. Jason works during the week so i can't go mon-fri b/c who would watch griffin?? So, tomorrow after his swim lessons i am off to get my hair cut and styled, and yes, it is before his nap time, so then i can come home and relax while he is napping.

Then Sunday morning at 10 am, i am treating myself to a prenatal massage for an hour and a half. I have decided that i am going to get one of these every month until baby number 2 arrives- so that is 3 massages :) and if you have ever been preggers you know what a godsend the prenatal massage is :) and yes, i should make it home right as griffin is going down to nap again :) So 2 free mornings in a row all to myself- i can hardly contain my excitement!

Oh yeah, and stay tuned for the announcement of the name we have chosen for Griffin's little sister :)

The "older" mothers

So, Griffin doesn't like to eat- big shocker! He is a very picky eater. I was a picky eater as well, and as my mom likes to say payback is a bitch, and yes, she was right. At first i used to call the doctor every other day and take griffin in to the doctor b/c he doesn't like to eat. The nurses and doctors have all assured me that this is very normal and most toddlers don't eat much. So , i have decided not to be concerned with this sinceI have other things to think about right now. Like, um, a baby is coming in 3 months and we need to get a nursery together, pick a name, yada yada. And i am taking griffin to California and that is a 6 hour plane ride so that is consuming my mind everyday about how sucky that ride is going to be. But back to griffin not eating, so okay, i figure one day he is going to have to eat, right? Right! I mean don't get me wrong there are a few staples to his diet- crystal light, juice, milk, yogart smoothies, dunkin donuts, gold fish crackers and mcdonalds french fries- that about covers it. So when he eats fries i am like wow, he ate fries, i mean hello, fries are potatoes right?, so he is eating his veggies :)

But like i said i am not concerned b/c it is just a phase. Once the "older" mother finds out what Griffin eats i feel like i am being scolded by a mother figure (not you mom, bc/ you understand how it is). In my neighborhood most of the moms have kids around griffin's age but they are like 10 + years older than me! the average mom is 40 in my neighborhood and i guess b/c they are older they are the type moms that puree all the organic food for their babies, don't let them drink juice, etc.- that' s the mom i am talking about. Shit, go to the market and get some gerber jars- seriously! i mean who has that kind of time- not me! so they all say wow, aren't you worried he doesn't eat, and i say no he eats, and i tell them what he eats and they can't believe i take him to mcdonalds. yep, these are the type of people i deal with on an everyday basis. then they tell me that b/c he doesn't go to bed until 8:30 pm and sleeps all night until 7:30-8am and he naps for 2 hours in the middle of the day that he is going to bed too late. HUH!!!!! he sleeps all night, what is wrong with that. The older" mom says he should be going to bed at 7pm. Well, let me tell you something those kids that go to bed at 7 wake up at 6 am, sorry, i need my beauty sleep, and at 7 we are just sitting down to eat, they all eat at 5pm, i guess the early bird special! It's just like they are all alpha moms and i am pretty laid back about griffin. so far he seems to be a normal healthy kid- so i think we are doing something right.

I could go on and on with different stores about the "older" mom but i don't want to bore you. I am just glad that for me, i had my kids when i was younger b/c shit when i am 40 griffin will be 13. I couldn't imagine being 40 and having a one year old- yikes!

Griffin is napping and I have alreay eaten and watched my tivo, i am exhausted but can't sleep, why can't i sleep during the day??? i have been cursed and i can't nap during the day , it is insane. i will lay there and nothing, just can't do it. Pats vs. the Cowboys

Okay, so this upcoming weekend the Pat are playing the cowboys and people here ask who are you cheering for? Well, I say, that's an easy,. the team that doesn't cheat! I am planning on cheering for the Dallas Cowboys against the Patriots this weekend. People are in shock, how can you cheer for another team, you live in New England. Yep, I sure do, and I love Tom Brady. He is HOT HOT HOT!!!! But, I just can't bring myself to cheer for cheaters, and they admitted the cheated! And what is really sad about the whole cheating thing is, they didn't need to cheat. the Pats are a kick ass team and didn't need to resort to that, they would have won anyways. They truly are that good. But they did cheat and i am not cheering for them this season. If you ask someone here in Boston, gosh it sure sux that the Pats did that, and all they can say is, oh well, who cares, everyone cheats- good morals they are teaching their kids!!!! So, i am going to be the black fish this weekend, and me and griffin are cheering for the Cowboys :) We are going to wear our cowboy attire out and about and be proud. And you ask who Jason is cheering for???? He has turned into a true new englander b/c he is cheering for the Pats! Oh well, what can you do. I'm sure that the cowboys are going to loose but hey, at least they have heart and don't need to cheat! But yes, Brady is still HOT!

Oh yeah, and how 'bout them red sox!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so after turning over her kids to K-FEd yesterday you would think that Brit Brit woud be sad to leave her kids or at least try and change her ways. WRONG!!

(an excerpt from perezhilton) She went to get some burgers at Carl’s Jr. She dropped off her kids to K-Fed’s bodyguard. She went tanning. She went to the DMV. She spent time at the Peninsula Hotel.
And, Britney even managed to find time to squeeze in to her busy schedule to have dinner at Nobu in Malibu on Monday night.
How does she do it all? She’s a superwoman!

All i can say is I feel so sorry for small fry and tater tot!

I need a vacation!

So, I am not trying to be selfish or anything and maybe it is just my pregnancy hormones getting to me, but I need a vacation. Nothing fancy, just a weekend away. I'm not sure if the 3 people that read this are aware but in the last 16 months (yep, today he is 16 months :) :) I have only been away overnight one time from griffin. Sure we have gone to dinner and stuff while my mom and dad watch griffin or we have a sitter here but we, i mean I (jason gets a break from me and griff when we go to Cali and florida for 3 weeks :) ) have only been gone one night while my mom and dad watched him so me and jason could go out. These past few months I have been moody and cranky, and like I said it could be the pregnancy or it could just be the biancardi genes, i'm not sure but I think I need a getaway if i am going to be of any use to griffin, b/c i am tired, cranky, and my patience is wearing very thin these days.... So if anyone has any ideas for me, please let me know, b/c at the end of january we will have 2 little ones around and i have a feeling it will be a very very long time before we get a vacation. For those of you that have family and friends that live nearby, lucky you! I totally took all my friends for granted when I lived in Dallas, and you can bet your ass I won't be making that mistake again if we ever move back!

Cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning

So, i have decided to write about something other than Griffin for once. I have decided to write about another one of my favorite topics, no not britney, but HELLO, can we say major trainwreck! i almost feel sorry for the poor girl, no, not really. I am deciding to write about ME, duh!!!!

So, today I cleaned house for 2 hours, and for those of you that know me, you know I HATE HATE HATE to clean. So, I am guessing my maternal instincts were kicking in and this is why I was cleaning. And when I say clean, I mean clean. I cleaned to whole house top to bottom all 3 floors, i cleaned toilets, washed tubs and showers, I even mopped the floors. I cleaned the entire kitchen- the stove, fridge, microwave, oven anddishwasher. I even cleaned out the fridge. So, hello what is the point of this you may ask, big deal you cleaned.... Man, was I tired.........

MORAL OF THE STORY- Monday, check into cleaning lady :) :) :)

Griffin Update

So, most of you know that the past few weeks Griffin has been under the weather, but this week he seems to be doing much better. He had had diarrhea for like 2 weeks straight, you can't imagine how happy I was to see a real stinky in his diaper this week. How funny is that, i get happy when griffin has a hard stool, my how life is funny!

So, this week we started our fall schedule. i am trying to get Griffin involved in activities with other kids so he gets used to being around children more. On Tuesdays he does music class with a neighbor and he really seemed to enjoy that. On Wednesday he goes to the tumble gym for 45 minutes to run around with the other brats (but mainly I do this so he will take along nap ). Then on Thursdays he does a playgroup with about 9 other boys his age, so that is good for him to learn to play.

Tomorrow he starts swim lessons with Jason so I will put a new pic up of that on Monday.

This Past Week

So this past week Jason's family has been in town for a visit. While here we have gone to Maine, downtown, newburyport and the beach.

Jason's sister is here with her 10 month old and lets just say Griffin doesn't do well with sharing his toys. Everytime Zachary goes for a toy griffin goes and steals it from him. Hopefully in the next 5 months before baby girl comes, he will learn some manners.

Oh yeah, we also discovered that griffin likes pepperoni pizza :) Hope you enjoy the pics of griffin and zachary. can you guess whos butt is whos :) :) :)

oh yeah, and did you hear about my boy becks, out for 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!! At least he didn't injure that beautiful face!

Baby News!!!!!

well, we found out today what we are having......................


Griffin is going to have a little sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, i don't really have anything exciting to write about, but my mom wanted me to do a new post, so here it is.

I guess I am going to write about how Griffin has finally decided to eat. As many of you know, Griffin, doesn't like to eat food, except for his bottle and ice cream. But the past 3 days he has had flounder, salmon, french toast, meatballs and yogurt. Now, he isn't eating a lot of it, but hey it's a start. Way to hang in there Griffin!!! Anyway, I will do a new post on Monday once we find out the sex of Griffin's younger sibling.

Fetus Update

So, i went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks good. we are at 16 weeks and the estimated due date is sometime w/in the week of January 27- February 3, 2008. I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks, Monday, August 27 and we will find out if it is a girl or a boy for griffin to play with.

Back from Florida

So, we finally made it back to Boston yesterday. We were supposed to come back on WEdnesday but we stayed for one extra day. We had such a good time that we are going back again for 3 weeks in November b/c after that i won't be able to travel until the baby is born :)

Griffin has a blast in Florida. We went swimming in the pool, went to the beach, went boating, went swimming in the ocean and went to the aquarium. And of course he did some shopping and dining as well.

He had lots of fun with his nona and papa and he can't wait to see them again soon :)

I have a doctor appointment on Monday so I will fill you all in on how that goes.

Baby Update......

So today we had the first ultrasound in downtown Boston :) so far it looks like things are going well with griffin's little baby fetus. We did an early risk assessment screening today where they do a blood test and look for chromosone abnormalities (down syndrome). From the look of things so far everything looks good. Hopefully Griffin will have a healthy little brother or sister in 6 months. The Dr. that did the sonogram said she thinks a better due date is February 3, 2008, but you know how that goes. Sometimes they come early or sometimes they are big meatballs like Griffin and come 10 days late!!!!!!! Anyway, all is well over here and on Thursday we ship out to Florida for 3 weeks, but we will be taking lots of pics posting new updates.

tomorrow we go downtown for like a 2 1/2 hour dr. appointment, we will see an ultrasound :) i'm sure that griffin will be on his best behavior! Hi, so yesterday I went to the doctor and it appears that so far so good. I was able to hear the heartbeat and it was nice and strong at 170. Jason was just glad to hear that there was only one heartbeat b/c he has been having nightmares about us having twins :) So last night he slept like a baby :) We are now at 3 months so only 6 more short months to go with this baby. Next week I go to florida for 3 weeks-can't wait, and then once I get back I have another appointment at the doctor. We will be able to find out the sex at week 18-20 (hopefully 18) so in a little less than 2 months would be great.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that everything is looking good so far.

The Meatball is walking!!!!

Can you believe that the meatball is walking!!!! I can't!!!! It is crazy, I thought he was hell on wheels when he was crawling, but that was nothing! Now he is in to everything, and i mean everything! Poor Bentley, he sees griffin coming after him and he runs the other way :)

I can't beieve such a little thing can be so fast and all over the place! but it really is the cutest thing to see him wobble as he walks all over the house :)

Well, just wanted to let you know that he is walking and doing great.

I go to the doctor on Monday so I will fill everyone in on how it went afterwards.

Griffin is going to be a big brother :)

My little cry baby is going to be a big brother in January!!!!! can you believe it!!! We are now accepting applications for a nanny :) :) :)

Griffin's birthday weekend

Grffin Update

So Griffin is 10 months old- i can't believe it!!!!! I guess that means that once we move it is time to start trying for another one :) So anyway, last week me and Griffin were both sick, we had it coming out of both ends- it wasn't pretty!!!! But we are now better than ever!

Griffin is busy getting ready for my mom and dad to come visit for easter, then again for his birthday, then we go to Florida for 3 weeks at the end of July. We are hoping that since we move in less than one month-BTW- we only have 6 boxes packed so far!!!!! Anyway, we hope that once we move we will get lots of company- HINT HINT HINT!!!

Griff is busy crawling all over and babbling like crazy. He loves to chase Bentley around, not too sure how boo feels about it but he really doesn't have a choice. Well, nothing else to report but will get back to everyone soon with soem Easter pics :)
