SO, TODAY I WENT TO LOOK AT A DAYCARE WITH GRIFFIN. OH GOODNESS........... IT DIDN'T GO OVER SO WELL. FIRST, ONCE WE WENT TO SEE THE CLASSROOM THAT HE WOULD BE IN, HE LATCHED ONTO MY LEG AND WANTED TO BE PICKED UP AND THEN BEGAN TO CRY OVER AND OVER. HE WOULDN'T STOP. HE WOULDN'T STOP UNTIL WE GOT HALF WAY HOME. TOMORROW WE ARE GOING TO CHECK OUT ANOTHER DAY CARE AND MAYBE HE WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER.
YOU MAY BE READING THIS AND SAYING TO YOURSELF, DAYCARE???? WHY ARE YOU PUTTING GRIFFIN INTO DAY CARE WHEN YOU ARE A STAY AT HOME MOM??????? WELL, BECAUSE HE NEEDS THE SOCIAL INTERACTION OF BEING AROUND OTHER KIDS. HE IS ALWAYS WITH ME AND IN ONE YEAR HE WILL BE GOING OFF TO PRESCHOOL, SO THIS WILL BE GOOD PRACTICE FOR US BOTH. HE WILL ONLY BE ATTENDING DAYCARE 2 MORNINGS A WEEK, AND HE WILL BE WITH ME THE REST OF THE TIME.
I AMHOPING THIS WAY HE WILL LEARN TO SHARE AND NOT BE A BULLY, OH YEAH THE WHOLE BULLY THING IS ANOTHER POST ALL IN ITSELF!!! AND IT IS GOOD FOR HIM TO GET SOME INDEPENDENCE AND SURE IT WILL BE A NICE BREAK FOR ME TOO.
WELL, I WILL FILL YOU IN ON HOW IT GOES TOMORROW. I WOULD WRITE MORE NOW, BUT GRIFFIN JUST GOT UP FROM HIS NAP. (I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO WATCH MY TIVO OF ONE TREE HILL LATER)

I think daycare will be great for Griffin. My kids go 5 days a week and LOVE it! Some parents are against it but the kids really do have fun. They play all day with other kids, do crafts, sing songs and so much more. It will be a great time for you to bond with the new baby as well. Another great thing, he will come home exhausted!!! He too will get over the crying and clinging, Kendall did the same thing. Now she runs to give the teachers a hug in the morning.

I think Griffin is going to enjoy it..it just might take some getting use to!:)

It will be GREAT! Ella is going to start in March. They need the interaction! Reagan is also going twice a week and it has been really good for her and Em both. He will LOVE it!
