90210 Tuesday!!!!!

Is it just me or is anyone else excited about today!!!!! Today is 90210 Tuesday, that's right, 90210 is finally out on DVD!!! This is one of the moments that I have been waiting for for a very very long time! I mean I was so excited I was hardly able to sleep last night. I was like a little kid waiting for Santa to arrive. So of course today I must go out and buy season one on DVD!

I'm not sure what it is about this show but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I began watching this show when I was in 6th grade when it first came out and I watched it all the way to the end, my junior year in college. There are many shows that have tried to copy 90210, but none will ever be as good.

I mean seriously, what is up on the OC with Ryan and the whole fight club thing?! And what, Summer goes off to college and becomes a tree hugger- PLEASE! And on Laguna Beach the real OC- can I please tell you how much I hate Kyndra and Cami,They are so stupid!!! And why is Jessica from like 3 season who must be 21 by now still wanting to date 17 year old juniors. But she finally has good taste this time, b/c Cameron looks like a young Tom Brady. But back to 90210.

None of these shows even comes close to 90210!!!! I can't wait till the meatball is old enough to watch 90210 with me, it will be such a proud moment for me! I wonder if he will be a Brenda fan like his mom or a Kelly fan. :)

Until next time.........

Baby Food

So, on Saturday we started feeding Griffin rice cereal and let's just say he HATES it! We tried it once on Saturday and once again on Sunday. I will try again on Monday but if he still doesn't like it I will wait a few days and try again. We started with the rice cereal but I guess if he doesn't take to that we can try the oatmeal or barley cereal. For those of you moms that read this, if you have any helpful advice for this topic that would be greatly appreciated. I thought for sure my meatball would gobble it up since he is such a piggy but I was wrong. I mean I eat anything you put in front of me and I thought he would follow in the Biancardi foot steps. Well, I will keep you posted on how feeding time goes.

Until next time..........

Story Time

So every Tuesday I take the meatball to story time at the public library. I can't tell you enough how great it is that the libraries do this. For those of you with little brats of your own, I highly recommend looking into story time at your local library.

Yes, the meatball is the youngest one in there but it is good for him to be around books and it is good for him to see the other older brats crawling and walking so he can learn by watching them. And did I mention the best part- it's FREE! Now, there's a word that my husband can really appreciate!!! :) But seriously, this is a great thing that most libraries offer and I am going to continue to do this with my little meatball for a very long time!

Until next time.........

This Past Weekend

So, Saturday night was the big night that we left the meatball alone with a sitter. We were gone for about 7 hours and all I could think about while we were out at the Story Book Ball was the little guy. However, we did magange to have lots of fun and win lots of great prizes.

So the little guy did well with the sitter. She held him for 2 hours, b/c we all know that the meatball is spoiled and likes to be held 24/7. Then he made a big stinky ( well she had to earn her 15 dollars an hour :) ) and then we ate and went to bed and he slept all night. So of course we called to check up on him and he was doing great. So, at least now I know that I can leave him if I have to, but why on earth would I want to?!

One of the prizes we won were Patriots football tickets in November. It is an afternoon game, and we are thinking about taking the meatball to his first football game, besides he loves pretty boy Brady! Anyway, we survived leaving him home and apparently he did fine.

Until next time......

New England Fall

What can I say, I gotta love the fall in New England. It is so beautiful here right now! All the trees are changing and it is just gorgeous. I love to take the meatball and Bentley out for walks everyday to enjoy the weather and the scenery. In Texas and California I didn't get to experience the seasons like up here and it really is a neat thing. I am really glad that the meatball gets to enjoy this with me, so for those of you not here- don't be jealous :).

Until next time.........

Baby Yoga

So I figure it has been a while since I have given you a baby yoga update. Well, we went today and the meatball seems to be enjoying it more and more each week. Next week the session is over so I have signed us up for the next session as well.

I think that since we have been doing baby yoga he sleeps better at night and during the day, it helps his digestive system and all in all he seems truly happy when doing it. It is good for him b/c they incorporate tummy time and now Griffin likes to be on his tummy and roll over and he is learning how to sit up on his own b/c his muscles are getting strong due to the yoga poses. And it is a good time for the 2 of us to bond together.

At night I incorporate his yoga with his baby massage and it really does help him sleep. I strongly recommend baby yoga and baby massage to all you moms out there. I am for sure going to keep this up with the meatball and with our future meaballs as well. I mean if nothing else at least I get to dress him up really cute once a week in his yoga attire :)

Until next time........

Okay, first before anything I want to wish my mom a happy birthday! Love you mom!!!

Okay, now back to business. So this past weekend was a fun filled weekend for the Post Family. My dear friend Nani D came to visit us for the weekend. Nani D was my roommate while I was in training to be a flight attendant. So on Friday we took the meatball out to lunch and then we all went out to dinner and had ourselves some great seafood, yummy!!!

Saturday we went to downtown Boston and had ourselves some Mexican food for lunch and we took the meatball to the Commons to enjoy the great weather. Then that night we vegged out at home and fed the meatball some sushi!

On Sunday we took the family to the pumpkin Patch and took tons and tons of pictures as most of you probably have seen :) Griffin loves all his pumpkins and hay that his daddy bought for him and he can't wait for all the trick or treaters to come and see his pumpkins.

It was so nice to have a friend come to visit and get to meet the meatball. I know that the meatball already misses his Nani D and so does the doggy- he slept with her every night. So we had a blast this past weekend and just wanted to fill everyone in on it.

Note to Nani D- we can't wait to come to Cajun country for Mardi Gras!!!!!

Until next time........

Tummy Time

Ah , the dreaded tummy time. The meatball can't stand tummy time yet I make him do it everyday and I think my hard work and effort has finally paid off.

Yesterday the meatball rolled over 15 times! Yep, 15 times, I kid you not. And so far today twice and he is even alseep on his tummy as we speak. I know I am totally OCD about rolling over and tummy time but I can't help it.

I mean seriously Ariele, is it really going to matter 18 years from now when the meatball is up at the podium giving his valedictorian speech to everyone?! No, it doesn't matter if he rolls at 2 months , 4 months or even 8 months, but I can't help it!!! I'm obsessed with the rolling, somebody help me!!!!!

Anyway, just wanted to fill you all in on the meatball and tummy time. And by the way 18 years from now, I hope you will all be present to see the meatball give his speech :)

Until next time..............

Griffin's weekend

This weekend Griffin got a new jogger stroller. You may be saying to yourself, "Ariele, I didn't know you run?" I don't run, I don't jog that much unless it is on a treadmill, so what the hell am I doing with a jogger! Well, for one it is stylish and two in New England, there are lots of trails for hiking so that is what we did. We take the meatball hiking on the trails with Bentley and he seems to enjoy it b/c with this stroller he can face out and look at all the trees.

Then on Sunday, we got together with the meatball's buddy Connor. We took the kids to the Summer Shack restaurant in Cambridge and ate lots of Lobster!!! Connor is 3 months older than the meatball but they still like to play, infact they are going trick or treating together too :) So all in all we had a pretty kick back weekend which was nice. Hope everyone else had a good one.

Until next time............

Shot, oh the shots

So, on Tuesday Griffin got his 4 month shots, poor meatball! They poked him in the legs and he was not happy about it! He didn't feel all that great Tuesday or Wednesday , infact he woke up both nights around 3:00 and kept me up the rest of the night- hopefully he will sleep all night long tonight. I just don't know how some moms do it.

I mean I love the meatball with all my heart don't get me wrong, but I love my sleep too. I have a friend that has twins, and I think they are about 7 months old, can you imagine 2 babies the same age, how hard that must be. WOW, one is hard enough. I tip my hat to her!

Sometimes when the meatball is fussy or wakes up in the middle of the night it really makes me wonder am I really ready to add another one to our pot of spaghetti???? I am just not sure..... I think for now the one meatball will have to do. I mean afterall, he is a pretty tasty meatball :) all 15 pounds of him :)

Well, keep your fingers crossed that he feels better and that he sleeps tonight. OH yeah, for those of you with babies, I think the meatball is in the early stages of teething, so if you have any advice to help me sooth and calm him, that would be great. Until next time......

The Meatball Will Be 4 Months Old On Tuesday!!!

Can you believe that the meatball is going to be 4 months old on Tuesday- I can't!!!! The time flies by-FAST. I mean look at the pictures above- he looks like a completely different baby from when he was first born. I remember when I first brought him home how scared and nervous I was to take care of a baby- I mean I was responsible for this little being- that is a pretty scary thing!!! And now it is like okay, I can do this, I can do this with more than one meatball- just not yet!!! The husband and my mom say they are both ready for another meatball but I say if they want to carry him for me for 9 months okay, otherwise my body still needs a break :) We will discuss the issue again in a few months. I mean afterall, I need to spend some time just me and the meatball before we introduce another meatball into the clan.

So the meatball is growing up. He is already 26 inches long (he was 21 inches at birth) and he weighs 14.2 pounds (he weighed 8.9 at birth)- wow, pretty soon he is going to be walking and talking. I remember when he was just a few weeks old and he really didn't do anything, he couldn't even hold his head up and now he holds it up like its nobodies business. In about 2 months he will probably be sitting up on his own and then soon after that be crawling everywhere and he will want to be independent so I need to take advantage of this precious time we have together now and just hold him and love on him all day long- not a bad gig if I do say so myself :)

So I just wanted to fill everyone in on the meatball. Until next time.....

Baptism Weekend

So the Meatball got baptized this past weekend and he was just way too cute for words. All his grandparents came up for the event and a good time was had by all. So now Griffin is a little catholic boy :) I will post more pics from the weekend later on this week. Until next time.....

Yogi Baby

Yep, the meatball is a yogi baby. Today was the first class of Itsy Bitsy Baby Yoga and he really enjoyed it! I kid you not, this kid was laughing and smiling most of the time. We learned some baby yoga poses, sang some songs, cuddled on the babies and it was really enjoyable for both of us. We still have 5 more classes to attend so anything can change but lets hope that he sticks with it and will continue to enjoy it. Until next time...... Posted by Picasa

Is It Just Me???

Is it just me...Or does anyone else find themselves just a tad bit attracted to Justin Timberlake these days?

I would have to agree with him when he says he's bringing sexy back, b/c holla, JT looks pretty good! Cameron better watch out for AP (me) if you know what I mean!

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone agreed with me on the matter?

Until next time....

Weekend Update

So this past weekend the Post family had a fun filled time. On Saturday we took the meatball back to downtown Boston, b/c I had a dentist appointment- YUCK! We took Griffin out to lunch at The Parish Cafe on Boylston Street and at the table next to us the brothers from the local TV show the Phantom Gourmet were there-Pretty cool. After lunch we went to the park and played and then I had my appointment ( I still have a cavity free mouth!). While I was at my appointment Jason took the meatball to see the ducks and swans at the park. Then they took a walk around Beacon Hill- a very fancy area of Boston- and the meatball told daddy that he liked it there. He must get his great taste from me :)

Today, Sunday, we had no plans so we decided to drive to Maine-yep Maine, you read correctly. We took Griffin to have his first lobster so it was only fitting that we dress him in his lobster outfit since we were in Maine and they are obviously famous for lobster. After lunch we went for a drive along the coast and stopped at the beach and took some pics. After that we went to some outlet stores in Maine and spent some of daddy's $$$$$ on the meatball. So all in all the meatball had a fun filled weekend. This upcoming weekend he gets baptized so I will post pics next week. Until next time....

No baby yet for Brit Brit

Britney Spears didn't make it to the hospital yesterday, despite reports on E!. However, she did manage to make a run for the border! The very pregnant brit brit went to pick up some Taco Bell. No Small Fry yet! I can't wait to see what her little girl is going to look like, b/c I do actually think Sean Preston is adorable despite K-FAG being the dad!

Bla Bla Bla

Hello! So today me and Griffin went to the mall to meet his friend Adam and Adam's mom for lunch. Adam is one month older than Griffin so they get along rather well. Griffin slept through lunch but was awake while we walked the mall. We went into Babystyle and can I tell you about the cute halloween costumes!! For those of you such as baby Connor, baby Kendall and Gavin- whos' babies are a little bit older than Griffin, you shoud check them out! For only $24 dollars- they were too cute for words. I think I am going to have to go back and get him one and take some pictures of him dressed up. They had sharks, goldfish, octopuses, caterpillars , butterflies, peas in a pod- soo cute!!!!! Anyway, other than that, not too much happening today, just wanted to let you know about the costumes at babystyle. The website is babystyle.com

Until next time...

Labor Day Weekend

Here's a few pictures from this weekend. We took Griffin to the Boston Common for the day and thought you may enjoy some the pictures. The Boston Common is a huge park in downtown Boston, it would be considered like Central Park in NY for us here. We took Griffin Shopping on Newbury street ( a street with lots of fancy shopping) and Charles Street ( more shopping) and out to lunch and then the park. All in all it was a fun filled day! Until next time....

Oh the toys....

So today me and Jason took Griffin to isismaternity.com (this is where he will be taking his baby yoga classes) and bought the meatloaf some new toys. We went in to browse but ended up with a bagful of goodies. Who would have ever thought they would have so many accessories for babies. The blue chair that he is in is called the "bumbo" and it is supposed to help babies learn to sit up and it is all the rage among new moms. Well for 50 bucks I hope it is going to get him into an ivy league school as well! And they must have seen us coming b/c as we were paying they asked us if we had the "winkle". What the hell is a winkle???? The winkle is the toy he has in the first picture and according to the sales girl it is the new must have baby toy, so of course we got it for the meatloaf, how could we deprive our son of the winkle, I mean what would his friends think! When all is said and done- are these toys really going to make a huge difference in his life, I doubt it, but it sure is fun to buy baby toys! I can't wait to see what we will end up buying him tomorrow :)
