Wishful Thinking

So I figured that since I always write about Griffin, I would do a post with Jason. Don't worry, I will do a Griffin post later this week for the 2 readers of my blog :)

So, anyway, I figured most men wished that they had a 9 foot penis and that is why this picture was kind of funny. This is Jason's version of the snowman, just kidding. We were driving and saw it, so yes Jason made me stop and take a picture of him holding the giant dick. anyways, that's all for now.

What's New With Us

Well, I figure I would take this time to fill you in on what is new with us. As you probably already know, we are moving in a little over a month. We are building a new house in Amesbury, MA. This town is about an hour commute to downtown Boston, but we are right near the coast, New hampshire and Maine. So that means, lots of fun weekend outings :) And of course I haven't even started to pack yet, oh well, I'm sure we will get around to it sooner or later.

What else, oh yeah my mom and dad are coming up for Easter and Griffin's birthday and we are hoping to have a few vistors coming to visit us this summer :) Then at the end of July we will be making a 3 week trip to Florida for fun in the sun.

Griffin is doing well. He had his 9 month checkup this week and he no longer has his ear infection :) He still has no teeth but that's okay. He weighs 19 pounds and is 30 inches long! Other than that, not too much else to report.

Tough Love

So, for the past 9 months we have been rocking Griffin to sleep at night and for nap time. This means that he can't fall alseep on his own when we put him in his crib. When he wakes up at night he needs us to rock him back to sleep. So my doctor said I have to get out of this habit ASAP before it gets worse. So as we speak, I have had Griffin in his crib for the past 30 minutes and all he has done is cry, I just want to go pick him up and rock him to sleep, but I am sticking to my guns, I hope :)

So if anyone has any tips or ideas to make this process go along any smoother please please let me know.

9 Months Old Today!

The Meatball is 9 months old today and he is crawling and climbing on everything he can find!!!! I've got my hands full with this guy. This week he gets back into his regular routine wtih story time and yoga tots. We are also going to try out a new tumble gym with some of his buddies this week. I will be sure to take lots of pics. Oh yeah, for those of you wondering, he stil has no teeth :)

Griffin is back :)

So we are back from Florida and finally getting settled to being home. Griffin had so much fun in Florida that we are planning on going back again for a few weeks in July to soak up some sun and fun :)

While in Florida Griffin had so much fun. He went boating, played outside, went to the zoo, went shopping, went to eat at many many restaurants, went to the beach and saw family. He really learned to crawl while there and stand up as well. Now this kid is all over the place and standing everywhere, he is a handful, but I love it!

Now that we are back we are getting back to our routine of story time, yoga, and whatever else we can find to fill his active schedule :) This kid is always doing something and he never wants to sit still. I can't believe that he is almost one year old...CRAZY!!! Anyway, just wanted to update everyone on how we were doing.

Griffin in Florida

So, it has been just about one week since we have been in Florida and we have been enjoying every day of it. As you can see from the pic above we used Griffin as shark bait one day for lunch :) We have been enjoying the warm weather and we have been trying to do something outside every day since it is freezing ass in Boston. Hope Jason is enjoying that cold weather all by himself for the next 2 weeks.... ha ha ha :) griffin has gone to eat at a few restaurants on the water to enjoy the sunshine and we have been playing in the backyard pretty much every day. He is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on all the furniture, he is a very busy boy :) Well, I am going to try and be better with writing more posts while I am here.

Griffin Update

Well, I can't believe that on Friday the meatball is going to be 8 months old!!! Time goes by way too fast. Griffin is crawling all over the place, he is able to put himself in the sitting up position adn just last night as he was getting ready for bed he brought himself to stand up position in his crib :) And of course he loves to "talk" to Bentley- his best buddy. I think that "boo boo" is going to be his first word. Today he went back to the head doctor and he said his head has gotten way way better since wearing his helmet and in about 3 weeks his head should be perfect (although I think it is already perfect :) ). And this Saturday me, meatball and bentley will be snow birds and depart this cold weather and head down to florida for some r&r and some sunshine!!! Well, just wanted to fill you in on how griffin was doing.

Me and the meatball are super excited about this celebrity coupling. We love 90210 and our little Texan Renee so we are all for this match! Let's hope things work out! We always did like Dylan over Brandon.

And Griffin's hero, Tom Brady dating Gisele?? Griffin is super excited about that one as well. It's so cute how my little meatball loves the E! Gossip :)

Brenda or Kelly??

Yes you saw correctly, that is Griffin playing wtih my 90210 DVD set of season one. I think he is a Brenda fan like me, he said he likes the bad girls :) It is supposed to be pretty cold here this 3 day weekend so I think me and the meatball are going to snuggle on the couch and watch 90210 together. It's never too early to introduce him to classic TV such as 90210 :)

Safety Fund

So the meatball has started to crawl :) Now don't get me wrong he isn't greased lightning...yet....but soon enough he will be all over the place. Today we went and bought safety gates and that good stuff but one big problem we have is the wiring for our TV in the living room is on the floor and we need to get rif of it. So what we need is a new 57 inch plasma or LCD flat screen that we can hang on the wall. So we are now currently accepting donations for the Griffin safety fund. All donations will go to our new TV purchase. We gladly accept cash as well as checks, so people please remember this is for the safety of our little meatball :)

Griffin's First Christmas!!!!

So, as you can see from the pictures, Griffin had lots and lots of fun in Dallas for Christmas! We got to meet lots of my good friends and he was able to meet his little cousin , Zachary.

Griffin even ate at our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Dallas, Pappasitos. He got lots of nice gifts for christmas and he had so much fun with all of his family!

At the end of January, me, Griffin and Bentley are planning on making a trip to Florida for a few weeks to get away from this cold weather :) Well, we hope you enjoy the pics of him and I'm sure I will be updating with a new post shortly.

Dallas Trip

Hello all! So tomorrow we leave for DFW for one week so I will be out of service until we get back from our trip. I promise once I get back to update a new post with lots of pics from our visit. Until then, I hope this pic of Griffin can get you through your day :0) And for those of you that don't already know, yes that is a helmet on Griffin's head that he has to wear for 2 months b/c he has a flat spot, but he looks so damn cute in it!

California Dreamin.......

Okay, so we are back from our trip to Cali, and boy was it fun. It took us 6 hours to get there and let me mention that the meatball slept maybe 40 minutes total but he never cried- that's my boy!!! While we were there Griffin got to meet all his family and friends. He went to San Diego, Whittier, The OC and all the way up to Ventura and sat in 3 hours traffic to get there- but it was worth it! He went shopping at South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island and Balboa Island and he brought back lots of goodies! This kid was great to travel with and he is officially my favorite travel accessory.

For those of you in CA, I am so glad you were able to see him. Nicole and Heather, you are like sisters to me and I am so glad you got to meet him! Natalie, I am soo sooo glad that we were able to get our little babies together b/c I know that one day they will be great friends- Cozumel here we come!

Anyway, we had a blast and I am so glad me and my mom took him out there to meet the family. By the way, I should mentionthat I have the best mom b/c on the way back home to Boston the Meatball fell asleep on her the entire plane ride back :)

So, now that you all have met the meatball we hope you will make a trip to beantown sometime to come and see him :)
