Griffin Update

Well, I can't believe that on Friday the meatball is going to be 8 months old!!! Time goes by way too fast. Griffin is crawling all over the place, he is able to put himself in the sitting up position adn just last night as he was getting ready for bed he brought himself to stand up position in his crib :) And of course he loves to "talk" to Bentley- his best buddy. I think that "boo boo" is going to be his first word. Today he went back to the head doctor and he said his head has gotten way way better since wearing his helmet and in about 3 weeks his head should be perfect (although I think it is already perfect :) ). And this Saturday me, meatball and bentley will be snow birds and depart this cold weather and head down to florida for some r&r and some sunshine!!! Well, just wanted to fill you in on how griffin was doing.

Is it just me and griffin or do you like this couple too?

Me and the meatball are super excited about this celebrity coupling. We love 90210 and our little Texan Renee so we are all for this match! Let's hope things work out! We always did like Dylan over Brandon.

And Griffin's hero, Tom Brady dating Gisele?? Griffin is super excited about that one as well. It's so cute how my little meatball loves the E! Gossip :)

Brenda or Kelly??

Yes you saw correctly, that is Griffin playing wtih my 90210 DVD set of season one. I think he is a Brenda fan like me, he said he likes the bad girls :) It is supposed to be pretty cold here this 3 day weekend so I think me and the meatball are going to snuggle on the couch and watch 90210 together. It's never too early to introduce him to classic TV such as 90210 :)

Safety Fund

So the meatball has started to crawl :) Now don't get me wrong he isn't greased lightning...yet....but soon enough he will be all over the place. Today we went and bought safety gates and that good stuff but one big problem we have is the wiring for our TV in the living room is on the floor and we need to get rif of it. So what we need is a new 57 inch plasma or LCD flat screen that we can hang on the wall. So we are now currently accepting donations for the Griffin safety fund. All donations will go to our new TV purchase. We gladly accept cash as well as checks, so people please remember this is for the safety of our little meatball :)

Griffin's First Christmas!!!!

So, as you can see from the pictures, Griffin had lots and lots of fun in Dallas for Christmas! We got to meet lots of my good friends and he was able to meet his little cousin , Zachary.

Griffin even ate at our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Dallas, Pappasitos. He got lots of nice gifts for christmas and he had so much fun with all of his family!

At the end of January, me, Griffin and Bentley are planning on making a trip to Florida for a few weeks to get away from this cold weather :) Well, we hope you enjoy the pics of him and I'm sure I will be updating with a new post shortly.

Dallas Trip

Hello all! So tomorrow we leave for DFW for one week so I will be out of service until we get back from our trip. I promise once I get back to update a new post with lots of pics from our visit. Until then, I hope this pic of Griffin can get you through your day :0) And for those of you that don't already know, yes that is a helmet on Griffin's head that he has to wear for 2 months b/c he has a flat spot, but he looks so damn cute in it!

California Dreamin.......

Okay, so we are back from our trip to Cali, and boy was it fun. It took us 6 hours to get there and let me mention that the meatball slept maybe 40 minutes total but he never cried- that's my boy!!! While we were there Griffin got to meet all his family and friends. He went to San Diego, Whittier, The OC and all the way up to Ventura and sat in 3 hours traffic to get there- but it was worth it! He went shopping at South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island and Balboa Island and he brought back lots of goodies! This kid was great to travel with and he is officially my favorite travel accessory.

For those of you in CA, I am so glad you were able to see him. Nicole and Heather, you are like sisters to me and I am so glad you got to meet him! Natalie, I am soo sooo glad that we were able to get our little babies together b/c I know that one day they will be great friends- Cozumel here we come!

Anyway, we had a blast and I am so glad me and my mom took him out there to meet the family. By the way, I should mentionthat I have the best mom b/c on the way back home to Boston the Meatball fell asleep on her the entire plane ride back :)

So, now that you all have met the meatball we hope you will make a trip to beantown sometime to come and see him :)

Going to California!!!!

Okay so don't be jealous but I'm getting out of this 30 degree weather and going to Southern California.... OC here I come!!!! Me and my mom are taking the meatball for a week to see friends and family, so I will be MIA for about one week thenI will be back to blogging again. Once I get back I will let you all know all about our trip and I will send pictures out as well. For those of you in Cali that I am going to see... I CAN'T WAIT! Let's just hope the meatball will be okay on the 6 hour flight, good thing i'm bringing my momma for help :)

Griffin Update

Okay, so I have to make this quick b/c I need to go feed the meatball, who by the way loves to eat baby food- especially prunes...He is his father's son for sure.

Anyway, earlier I had him upstairs in his room on his tummy and I was downstairs in front of the computer- of course, and he started to cry about 10 minutes after I had last seen him. So I went up and he had moved from near his crib to just outside his door, so he moved several feet. How- I have no idea. So of course I tried to get him to crawl in front of me- no such luck. But he moved and hopefully soon he will be on the go. I will write more later and hopefully this weekend i will download some new pics, and for those of you in Cali I will see you next week!!!!!

Santa Baby!

So, over the Thanksgiving break we took Griffin to go see Santa Claus. As you can see, Griffin was not quite sure what to make of it and he didn't know if he should smile :) Oh well, maybe next year he will be a smilebug!

So, for the past 4 days I have had my hubby jason home with me, and boy was that nice. It was nice to have some help with the little one 4 days in a row. I hope we win the lottery so Jason can quit his job, and we can stay home and make like 4 babies just like Griffin! Anyway, not much to say so just wanted to post some pics from our thanksgiving. I hope everyone has a happy turkey today. Today I am attempting to make homemade stuffing, gravy, turkey and mashed potatoes! Yes, it is just me, Jason andthe meatball- what were we thinking :) Anyway, I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Holidays- what a mess!

So today me and Griffin went to the mall around 11am to get some things at Williams and Sonoma for Thanksgiving. I figured that the mall wouldn't be too crowded b/c people should be at work- WRONG!!!! Everyone and their dog was at the mall, it was a nightmare! I mean people still work right?! I guess everyone takes the whole week off or something- CRAZY.

Then we had to go to Trader Joes and Whole Foods to get a leg up on our Thanksgiving shopping. Since today is Monday I figured the markets won't be busy till Wednesday- WRONG AGAIN!!! I have never seen the parking lots so crowded- what a mess. So for those of you doing thanksgiving this year, I hope you were smarted than me and already did your shopping.

NOTE TO SELF: Next year we are going to Mom's for thanksgiving :)

Meatball Update!

So the meatball had his 6 month checkup yesterday and everything seems good. He is normal for his weight and he is considered a "tall" baby b/c he is long :) Maybe the meatball will play basketball in the NBA when he grows up.

Anyway, all is good with him and he ate all of his rice cereal mixed with sweet potatoes today. Tomorrow we will start him on apple sauce for a few days and see how he does with that.

Well, not much else to report except that we are going to California for a week the beginning of December so my friends and family can finally meet him and then we are off to Dallas for Christmas. Other than that not much else to say so ....................

Feeding Frenzy!!!!

So this past weekend we added sweet potatoes to Griffin's rice cereal and he really seems to enjoyit and so does bentley! I just can't believe that Griffin is already eating baby food, I mean it was just 6 months ago that he wasn't even born yet and now he is almost sitting up and scooching across the floor...My how time flies. Anyway, not too much happened this past weekend other than feeding Griffin baby food. After this week is up I will introduce a new food to him since I guess you are supposed to wait a few days to make sure he doesn't have an allergic reaction to the food. So if anyone has any suggestions on baby foodand what to try next please let me know.

In what is clearly an attempt to try and extricate more money from Britney, Kevin Federline has responded to Spears' divorce petition and he is asking for sole custody of their two boys.
Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
There ain't no judge in hell or Fresno that would give FedEx sole custody of Tater Tot and Small Fry.
Shit, he shouldn't even be allowed unsupervised visitation rights!
Not that Spears is the best parent, but at least she can afford some help. K-Fag will undoubtedly be filing for bankruptcy in three years.

Britney Spears has reportedly filed for divorce from rapper-dancer Kevin Federline.
The Los Angeles County Superior Court filing cites “irreconcilable differences,” said court spokeswoman Kathy Roberts.
Her petition asks for legal and physical custody of their two kids, one-year-old Sean Preston and two-month-old Jayden James.
Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she showed off her post-pregnancy body during a surprise appearance on “Late Show with David Letterman.”
Spears, 24, married Federline, 28, in 2004. Rumors of marriage woes have dogged the couple almost from the start.
