Yogi Baby

Yep, the meatball is a yogi baby. Today was the first class of Itsy Bitsy Baby Yoga and he really enjoyed it! I kid you not, this kid was laughing and smiling most of the time. We learned some baby yoga poses, sang some songs, cuddled on the babies and it was really enjoyable for both of us. We still have 5 more classes to attend so anything can change but lets hope that he sticks with it and will continue to enjoy it. Until next time...... 

Is It Just Me???

Is it just me...Or does anyone else find themselves just a tad bit attracted to Justin Timberlake these days?

I would have to agree with him when he says he's bringing sexy back, b/c holla, JT looks pretty good! Cameron better watch out for AP (me) if you know what I mean!

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone agreed with me on the matter?

Weekend Update

So this past weekend the Post family had a fun filled time. On Saturday we took the meatball back to downtown Boston, b/c I had a dentist appointment- YUCK! We took Griffin out to lunch at The Parish Cafe on Boylston Street and at the table next to us the brothers from the local TV show the Phantom Gourmet were there-Pretty cool. After lunch we went to the park and played and then I had my appointment ( I still have a cavity free mouth!). While I was at my appointment Jason took the meatball to see the ducks and swans at the park. Then they took a walk around Beacon Hill- a very fancy area of Boston- and the meatball told daddy that he liked it there. He must get his great taste from me :)

Today, Sunday, we had no plans so we decided to drive to Maine-yep Maine, you read correctly. We took Griffin to have his first lobster so it was only fitting that we dress him in his lobster outfit since we were in Maine and they are obviously famous for lobster. After lunch we went for a drive along the coast and stopped at the beach and took some pics. After that we went to some outlet stores in Maine and spent some of daddy's $$$$$ on the meatball. So all in all the meatball had a fun filled weekend. This upcoming weekend he gets baptized so I will post pics next week. Until next time....

No baby yet for Brit Brit

Britney Spears didn't make it to the hospital yesterday, despite reports on E!. However, she did manage to make a run for the border! The very pregnant brit brit went to pick up some Taco Bell. No Small Fry yet! I can't wait to see what her little girl is going to look like, b/c I do actually think Sean Preston is adorable despite K-FAG being the dad!

Bla Bla Bla

Hello! So today me and Griffin went to the mall to meet his friend Adam and Adam's mom for lunch. Adam is one month older than Griffin so they get along rather well. Griffin slept through lunch but was awake while we walked the mall. We went into Babystyle and can I tell you about the cute halloween costumes!! For those of you such as baby Connor, baby Kendall and Gavin- whos' babies are a little bit older than Griffin, you shoud check them out! For only $24 dollars- they were too cute for words. I think I am going to have to go back and get him one and take some pictures of him dressed up. They had sharks, goldfish, octopuses, caterpillars , butterflies, peas in a pod- soo cute!!!!! Anyway, other than that, not too much happening today, just wanted to let you know about the costumes at babystyle. The website is babystyle.com

Labor Day Weekend

Here's a few pictures from this weekend. We took Griffin to the Boston Common for the day and thought you may enjoy some the pictures. The Boston Common is a huge park in downtown Boston, it would be considered like Central Park in NY for us here. We took Griffin Shopping on Newbury street ( a street with lots of fancy shopping) and Charles Street ( more shopping) and out to lunch and then the park. All in all it was a fun filled day! Oh the toys....

So today me and Jason took Griffin to isismaternity.com (this is where he will be taking his baby yoga classes) and bought the meatloaf some new toys. We went in to browse but ended up with a bagful of goodies. Who would have ever thought they would have so many accessories for babies. The blue chair that he is in is called the "bumbo" and it is supposed to help babies learn to sit up and it is all the rage among new moms. Well for 50 bucks I hope it is going to get him into an ivy league school as well! And they must have seen us coming b/c as we were paying they asked us if we had the "winkle". What the hell is a winkle???? The winkle is the toy he has in the first picture and according to the sales girl it is the new must have baby toy, so of course we got it for the meatloaf, how could we deprive our son of the winkle, I mean what would his friends think! When all is said and done- are these toys really going to make a huge difference in his life, I doubt it, but it sure is fun to buy baby toys! I can't wait to see what we will end up buying him tomorrow :)

The Meatloaf and Yoga

Okay so yeahI signed my baby up for baby yoga classes. You say,what a 3 month old taking yoga classes- give me a break.

Seriously, we start a 6 week session a week from this upcoming Wednesday. Sure I know he probably won't get too much out of it but it is good for him to be around other babies once a week so he can learn to interact with them, don't cha think!

I will have to fill everyone in on his progress after class. Well hope everyone is well and I am sure the meatloaf is looking forward to the 3 day weekend coming up!

Hello all! Well, I took the meatball to the doctor yesterday and found out my little meatball weighs 13 pounds and 9 ounces!!! I have decided that the meatball is now a "meatloaf" :) My little 3 month old meatloaf is back in Boston but missing his Nona and Papa, but they will be up to visit in September for his baptism. Anyway, just wanted to update everyone on the meatloaf's progress. Until next time.

3 Months Old Tomorrow

Wow, can you believe that the meatball is going to be 3 months old tomorrow, Saturday the 26th!!!! I can not believe how fast the time goes by. Every day he does something new and exciting. Just the other day he put his finger in his nose then cried afterwards b/c he realized that it hurts to stick a finger up your nostril. Just this morning he farted like 4 times in a row and just the other day he realized he could move his head from side to side so he did it 12 times in a row. It's the little things like this that just melt my heart. I'm sure you other moms out there know just what I am talking about. I knew that I would love being a mom but I never knew it would feel as wonderful as this. I think Jason has it right about getting started and having a housefull of more meatballs! Well, just wanted to remind everyone that my little guy is 3 months old tomorrow and I promise when I get home to send out lots of pics.

Another Sleepless Night

So you may be wondering if my parents took the meatball again last night???? Well, the answer:

YES.

The meatball went to sleep around 9pm and he woke up at 3am and went back to sleep at 4:30 am then he got back up at 6 am. So basically last night was way worse than the night before. Needless to say, the meatball will be sleeping with me the remainder of the trip.

Well, other than that not too much else to report other than we are enjoying our vacation and it is very nice to have some extra help. Until tomorrow.......

Sleepless Nights

So last night was Friday night and I didn't have baby duty for the first time in a very long time! My parents put the baby in their room last night so that I could get some uninterrupted sleep and they are going to do so again tonight- I think.... They may change their minds after last night.........

Last night the meatball didn't fall asleep until 10 pm and usually he goes to bed around 9pm, so you just knew he was going to be a pill :) He is a Gemini and has Biancardi blood running through him so he can already be very hard headed at not even 3 months old yet!

So anyway he went to bed around 10pm and then around 2am until 3 something he kicked and flared his arms and made noises- fun stuff. I am used to those noises but to the amaetuer it can be very hard to sleep through. So then around 3:30 am he went back to sleep until around 5 am and from there I believe there was no turning back.

So they got up with him, fed him, changed his stinky diaper and now he is back asleep in his swing. So why I am I up at 6:30 am on a Saturday if I didn't have baby duty you may ask???? Because 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep for me is like 12 hours for the average person so I am fresh and ready to go, and of course I heard the baby fuss and I missed him and wanted to come see the angel.

So until next time let's hope that he lets my mom and dad sleep a little more tonight :)

The Adventures of the Meatball

Hello, so the meatball is having quite a ball in Florida. He loves having mom, nonna and papa taking care of him, and momma likes it too b/c it gives her a break! So the meatball has gone swimming and boating and at some point before we leave he is going to go to the beach. Today me and my mom took the meatball to Miami/Coral Gables to look for a baptismal outfit and we actually found one. The meatball is getting baptised in Boston September 17, 2006 for those of you that were wondering. Most of the baptismal outfits for baby boys are a pants suit and I wanted a gown for him so he lookes like an angel. All the pants outfits looked like zoot suits on the meatball so I am going for a gown- yes a gown, you read right. I know that most may think that is gay and silly but I don't care, I think he is going to look like a beautiful cherub that belongs on the ceiling of the sistine chapel :) Once the baptismal is over I will put up a post on this blog so everyone can see how beautiful the meatball is. Well, I just wanted to update my 4 readers on how the meatball is doing on his summer vacation. Until next time......

Kate and Chris Split

Yeah so I used to really like Kate Hudson. Yes, I thought she is such a cute nice girl, well not so much anymore. I mean I know Chris Robinson is no prize to look at but boy can sing! I thought they were a cute couple and I actually thought that they would stay together. And now we hear she is leaving him for Owen Wilson. I saw him at the DFW airport one day while I was working and he is like 5 feet tall and dorky in real life! And he is a womanizer, I mean hello Kate, look how he dropped Sheryl Crow and she went into depression b/c of him. So, I am no longer a fan of Kate Hudson although I am hoping that they can reconcile and get back together. Until next time....

The Adventures of the Meatball

Greetings from hot and sunny Florida. So, the Post family made it here on Friday morning, me, Jason, meatball and Bentley. We had to fly on Delta b/c AA was all full, and let me tell you that delta sucks!!!!! They would not let us preboard even though we had an infant and a dog! I am so glad that I work for AA!!!!!!!!! SO anyway, you are probably wondering how the meatball did.....PERFECT! He did not cry or fuss once, he slept pretty much the entire 3 1/2 hour flight! Way to make me proud meatball. Since being here the meatball has gone boating and swimming in the pool- he is such a water baby, I think when he gets older he is going to be a surfer boy. I will try and post pics this week sometime of the meatball having fun in Florida. Jason goes back to Boston today so it will just be me, meatball and the pooch with my parents. Well, I will write more again tomorrow. Talk to you soon.

11 Weeks Tomorrow

Good morning! Well tomorrow makes 11 weeks for the meatball, can you all believe he is almost 3 months old- I can't!!!!! That means it is almost time to make another meatball- KIDDING! So I am writing about him today rather than tomorrow because tomorrow we embark on a journey to Florida. Yep, me, Jason, the meatball and the pooch are all going to Florida tomorrow morning. This will be the meatball's first time to fly while not in utero. While in my uterus he flew very well to Florida, Texas, California and even South America so I am hoping that tomorrow he does okay and he doesn't turn out to be one of those screaming babies that you hear on the plane and everyone gets annoyed by. Hopefully he will be a perfect angel and look cute in his travel outfit and everyone will say wow, what a great baby- doubtful! I bet he is going to fuss and get the dog worked up and then Bentley is going to bark his head off- yes it will be quite an adventure. But the adventure will be well worth it b/c once we get there my parents can help take the meatball off my hands for 2 weeks and I can get the much needed sleep and relaxation that I have been needing. So please wish us luck for our flight tomorrow and I will let everyone know how they kids did :)

He's no longer the Iceman

Okay- So I used to think Val Kilmer was all the rage- keyword- used to. What happened???? I guess he has changed a lot since the Iceman in Top Gun. But then again, back then Tom was still normal and not jumping on Oprah's couch! Oh Val, what happened to you!

Breaking News

Good morning! Yesterday evening the meatball was on his surfboard tummy time mat and he rolled over!!! That's right he was on his stomach and rolled over onto his back. He only did it once but I am rather hopeful that he will do it again and amaze us all :) What a kid!

The Family At The Lake

Good morning. So yesterday we took the brats to the lake with the meatball's girlfriend and her parents. A good time was had by all. Infact the meatball had such a good time he woke up at 2:30 am to tell me all about it until about 3:30 am. Then he got up at 6:30 to tell me some more about his good time. Gotta love it!

10 Weeks Old Today

So today the meatball is 10 weeks old, and we are still surviving it all. Sometimes I wonder if this kid knows how good he has it. I mean he gets carted around in a BMW, he has a designer diaper bag, most of his clothes come from Baby Gap, and he had tons of toys, so I thought it was only fitting that this meatball get an infant massage today ( I mean don't all babies go to the spa to get rubbed down!). That's right, I am taking a class on how to give him a massage. Crazy, you say, maybe, but if it is going to help relax him and help him to sleep better- I'm all for it. He seemed to enjoy the foot massage and leg massage but once we started working on his digestion, my well bred meatball began to wail! But all in all he did pretty well I must say, and seemed to enjoy the massage for the most part. We take another class towards the end of September because next week the meatball is going on vacation to Florida! Well, this was just a little update on the meatball and how he has been doing.

(For the 4 readers of this blog, I assume you know that I was being funny in this post when it sounded like I was raising a snob- it's just all part of my humor)

Why are we so freaking cute???? I wake up every morning and say to myself, "self, you and the meatball are just too cute for words, you guys should to be on the big screen!" Mr. Deville, we are ready for our close up now :)
